Coin Show - Monthly Notes from January 2020
The dealers and visitors to the first Greater Atlanta Coin Show of the new year saw many new faces strolling among the displays of coins, currency, bullion and other collectibles.
We thank all of you that came to the show on a warm, mid to upper 60s, January day under sunny skies.
Our thanks also goes to all of the dealers, our security and the hotel's staff who help with the coin show each month.
In early January each year, we always have a slight conflict with the F.U.N. show held in Florida.
This year a few of our dealers decided to stay at the F.U.N. show, while a few traveled back through storms on Saturday evening.
For February, the show's bourse will be filled with dealers and their displays of coins, currency, bullion, exonumia, scripophily, semi-precious stones, jewelry and other collectible items.
With a broad range of interests, the dealers on the bourse offer a wide variety of displays and provide many years of knowledge and experience.
All visitors to the show are welcome whether buying, selling, trading or just looking at the many different items.
Mark your calendar and visit the next Greater Atlanta Coin Show on Sunday, February 9, 2020 in the Joe Mack Wilson ballroom to buy, sell, trade or just browse among the many items on display.
We appreciate their efforts to return to the show. We also welcome and thank several visiting dealers who filled in where a few regular dealers had schedule conflicts.
We also want to acknowledge the entries the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Marietta Daily Journal Online gave the January show.
As usual the bourse was a busy place to spend a few hours among interesting collectibles.
For this month, the coin show's web site management (me) apologizes for the brief synopsis.
Due to family challenges, the web site, Facebook page, Twitter feed and the emails to our list will be brief and limited. Thank you in advance for understanding.
